For almost 20 years, CASAdelDRAGON, an artist residence, think tank, and laboratory for international contemporary art, has been showcasing artists from all over the world. Without public funding, without an art association to divert public subsidies, without patrons, and without regional businesses and institutions that claim to promote culture, this house has remained open all these years. Time and again, artists have sought this extraordinary opportunity to showcase their works in the over 700-year-old natural stone building; time and again, culture enthusiasts have discovered this space; time and again, creative people of all ages have gathered to fill the spaces with literature, dance, music, theater, performance art, and contemporary art. The house attracted visitors like a magnet and became an integral part of the regional art scene.
Without donations or refinancing, the project was and continues to be supported by private donations. While terror, war, destruction, and discord outside upended the world, the house remained a place of peace, inclusion, and a focus on what was valuable, human, and lovable. And it was always a dance with the dragon.
This exhibition, with a few selected examples, commemorates this history and its protagonists. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, an additional artist from this shared era will be highlighted. Tea, coffee, and the opportunity for dialogue about art, life and love will be available.

PRESS RELEASE from GAIA (Government Artificial Intelligence Agency) 2025-12-26 – 23:15
For Immediate Release
Date: 2025/12/26
Subject: Government Confirms CBDC Roll-Out and Announces Transition Plan for Old Currency
The Federal Government of [Country Name] is pleased to confirm the roll-out of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) on 2025/12/26. This historic move towards a cashless society is part of the government’s ongoing commitment to enhancing financial inclusion, security, and efficiency. The CBDC will serve as the sole legal tender alongside the current digital banking system.
In an effort to facilitate a smooth transition for citizens and businesses, the government has announced that the old currency will remain in circulation until midnight on 2025/12/31. After this date, the old currency will cease to be accepted as a medium of exchange and will hold no value.
To ensure a seamless transition, the following measures have been put in place:
- Fixed Exchange Rates: The government has established fixed exchange rates for converting cash into the new CBDC. These rates will be in effect from the CBDC’s launch date until midnight on 2025/12/27. This period is designed to allow all citizens and businesses ample time to convert their existing cash holdings.
- Temporary Suspension of Banking Services: For 24 hours, starting from the launch of the CBDC, all departmental transactions, deposits, and withdrawals from traditional bank accounts will be on hold. This temporary suspension is necessary to facilitate the transfer of funds to the new CBDC system. Normal banking operations are expected to resume by evening of 2025/12/27.
- Cash Usage Limitations: Payments with cash will be allowed until the end of the year. However, due to the impending expiration of the old currency, we encourage the public to minimize the use of cash and instead utilize the new CBDC for transactions.
- Retail Acceptance: Businesses are advised that they may continue to accept the old currency for transactions until 2025/12/31. Any returns made after this date will be processed in the new CBDC and credited directly to the customer’s digital wallet.
The roll-out of the CBDC is a significant milestone that leverages advanced blockchain technology to provide a secure and user-friendly experience. The new digital currency will operate on a distributed ledger system, offering enhanced transaction transparency and reducing the risk of fraud and counterfeit currency.
The government has conducted extensive research and consultations with stakeholders, including financial institutions, businesses, and the public, to ensure the successful implementation of the CBDC. This has involved rigorous testing and simulation of the system to ensure its robustness and scalability.
For citizens, the transition to the CBDC will require the creation of a digital wallet, which can be linked to existing bank accounts. The CBDC can be used for transactions through a mobile application, online platforms, or at retail outlets equipped with compatible point-of-sale systems. The digital currency is also designed to be accessible to the unbanked population, providing them with the same financial services and opportunities as those with traditional banking access.
In preparation for the transition, the government has established a comprehensive public awareness campaign to educate citizens about the benefits and usage of the CBDC. Training programs are also available for businesses and financial institutions to ensure a smooth integration with existing systems.
For further information and assistance with the transition, please visit [CBDC Information Website] or contact the dedicated CBDC hotline at [Contact Number].

PRESS RELEASE from GAIA (Government Artificial Intelligence Agency) 2025-12-26 – 23:25
Date: 2025/12/26
Subject: Government Confirms Roll-Out of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)
Government Officially Announces the Launch of the CBDC on 2025/12/26
The government of [Country Name] is proud to announce the successful launch of its Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), a revolutionary step towards a cashless and more efficient economy. This new digital currency will be the sole legal tender in the nation from the stroke of midnight on 2025/12/31, replacing traditional paper money and existing electronic transactions.
Expiration of Old Currency
In a strategic move to ensure a smooth transition, the government has set a firm deadline for the expiration of the old currency. As of midnight on 2025/12/31, all existing cash denominations will cease to be legal tender. Citizens are advised to complete all transactions and exchange their old currency for the new CBDC before this date.
Fixed Exchange Rates and Transfer Period
To facilitate the transition, the government has established fixed rates for the exchange of cash into the new CBDC. This rate will be in effect from 2025/12/26 to midnight on 2025/12/27. During this period, individuals and entities are encouraged to transfer their cash holdings into the new digital currency.
Consolidation of Bank Accounts
In a bid to streamline financial operations and enhance transparency, the government has mandated that all citizens with more than one bank account or additional foreign accounts will have their balances consolidated into a single CBDC account. This regulation applies to savings and investment accounts as well. Overdrafts will be settled, and any outstanding claims will be transferred to the new CBDC accounts for resolution.
Treatment of Unlawfully Obtained Currency
It is important to note that the government will not entertain exchanges for banknotes that have been obtained illegally, such as through robberies, extortion, or theft. These incidences represent less than 1% of the currency in circulation and are not a significant concern for the CBDC roll-out.
Single CBDC Accounts for Entities
All corporations, associations, foundations, businesses, and NGOs will be allocated a single CBDC account at their respective central banks. This will simplify financial transactions and ensure uniformity across various sectors.
Self-Employed Individuals and Freelancers
Self-employed individuals and freelancers will not receive an additional account at their respective CB. Instead, they will continue to operate under their personal CBDC accounts.
Transition Period for Businesses
To allow for a seamless integration of the new currency into existing systems, businesses have been granted a transition period until the end of 2026 to adapt their processes to the CBDC. Despite this, all transactions and financial activities will be processed exclusively in the new currency after the initial roll-out.
Automated Conversion and Redirection of Transfers
The banking system will be fully converted to the new CBDC by the end of the year. Any transfers made to old bank accounts will be automatically converted and redirected to the corresponding new CBDC accounts.
Banks’ Conversion and Role
Banks across the country will be transitioned to support the new CBDC by the end of the year. They will act as intermediaries, facilitating the exchange of the old currency and the opening of CBDC accounts for their customers.
Scientific Principles and Rationale
The decision to introduce the CBDC is based on extensive research and economic analysis, leveraging the principles of monetary policy, digital security, and financial inclusion. The CBDC will operate on a highly secure and transparent blockchain network, ensuring that all transactions are recorded and verifiable. This innovative approach to currency management is expected to reduce the cost of transactions, combat illicit financial activities, and provide a more stable and inclusive financial system for the citizens of [Country Name].
The government assures the public that the introduction of the CBDC is a well-considered and necessary step towards modernizing the nation’s financial infrastructure. It is committed to providing support and guidance throughout this transition period to ensure that all citizens and businesses can confidently embrace this new form of currency.

Update #3
PRESS RELEASE from GAIA (Government Artificial Intelligence Agency) 2025-12-26 – 23:35
Government Confirms CBDC Roll-Out on 2025/12/26 with Fixed Rate Exchange Window and Strict Travel Restrictions
In a landmark announcement, the government has confirmed the roll-out of the nation’s Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) on December 26, 2025. This strategic move towards a cashless economy is in line with international standards and aims to enhance financial security, streamline transactions, and boost economic growth. The old currency will cease to be legal tender at midnight on December 31, 2025.
The government has set a fixed rate for citizens and institutions to exchange their cash for the new CBDC, which will remain in place from 2025/12/27 to the end of the year. This window is designed to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure that all individuals and entities have ample time to convert their cash holdings.
Following international treaties and agreements, the government also announced that any so-called rogue states not adhering to the global CBDC framework by December 29, 2025, will be excluded from monetary transactions. Consequently, government bonds issued by these states, which are held by countries that have joined the agreement, will expire, resulting in a loss for the creditors of such bonds.
To maintain public order during this critical period, a series of travel restrictions will be implemented. Starting from 2025/12/26, international private air traffic, except for private jets and accredited government aircraft, will be temporarily suspended until January 1, 2026. Additionally, all ferry connections will be halted. Cargo ships are instructed to maintain parked positions or take up such positions until further notice, resuming operations at the start of the new year. Local and long-distance public transport will also be suspended, with the exception of essential services.
Citizens are advised to remain within 15-minute zones from their registered addresses until the end of the year. Travelers currently outside these zones are permitted to return to their first registered address or stay at their current location until December 31, 2025. All planned trips after midnight are to be canceled, and travelers are encouraged to contact their service providers for further information.
In anticipation of potential systemic challenges, the government has instructed internet service providers to reduce upstream and downstream speeds to 5 Mbps. This is a precautionary measure to safeguard the integrity of the digital infrastructure and prevent misuse. The academic rationale behind this decision is based on network load balancing principles, which will help in stabilizing the digital ecosystem during the transition. This temporary measure will be lifted after the successful implementation of the new currency at the end of the year.
Citizens are urged to limit power consumption and non-essential internet usage during this period. The government assures that all necessary steps are being taken to minimize disruptions and ensure that critical services remain operational.
For more information on the CBDC transition process and the exchange rates, please visit the official government website or contact your local financial institution.
